In general, what is your background?
Lived in Chicago for 16 yrs, original from Myrtle Beach, SC. Went to engineering school at Rose-Hulman in Indiana and have been in the Midwest since.
How long have you been a member at our gym, how did you learn about CF and why did you start?
1 year. Put simply I just needed a change.
How has being a member at 312 changed your life/lifestyle/level of fitness?
I am so much healthier. Making the time for exercise really helps my stress levels and the 312 coaches push me just the right amount. I have never felt stronger in my life.
Short term goals (gym and/or personal):
My original short term goal was to be healthier with less stress now my short term goal is to get stronger.
Long term goals (gym and/or personal):
225 bench press. 1 rope climb
What do you like most about being a member at 312?
I think the programming. It is really challenging and I like that. I also have never been stronger then I am now and that is programming mixed with encouragement from other members and good coaching.
Favorite and least favorite movements:
– Favorite is power clean it just feels good to throw all that weight up in the air.
– Least favorite is burpees.
Favorite and least favorite WODs:
– I like most wods with Cal row or bike or tabatas.
– I hate anything with burpees.
Favorite post-WOD meal:
Being an 8:00 am crossfitter Bacon, eggs, cheddar and sausage
Most Scifi Most interesting film of 2016 to me was Arrival.

Software for small business. I really like building things that help small businesses succeed.

I like to surf and body board and did it a lot growing up in myrtle beach.
