Stephen Hoesley

Stephen Hoesley joined CrossFit 312 while studying to become a chiropractic physician. Impressed by the scientific and physiological methodology behind CrossFit, he quickly became hooked. Stephen has volunteered for the Reebok CrossFit® Regional Medical Team and several local affiliate competitions. He has developed various classes ranging from mobility to rehabilitation and is a consultant on prescription exercise programs. His specializations include strength and conditioning, myofascial release, functional rehabilitation and corrective exercise and movement.

In addition, he has attended over 400 hours of postgraduate education including Active Release Techniques®, FAKTR®, Fascial Movement Taping, acupuncture, Functional Movement Systems®, McKenzie Method® for lumbar and cervical disorders, advanced laboratory diagnostics and functional nutrition, intravenous nutrition and pharmacotherapy, instrument assisted soft tissue techniques, trigger point needling, and Titleist® Performance Institute.

“There is no doubt that CrossFit is challenging – it challenges your dedication, takes you to your individual physical limits and can sometimes become competitive. But, it is more than that — it’s about cheering a new member on, it’s about having fun and sharing time with our athletes. Our community is what holds me accountable and I invite anyone and everyone to become a part of it.”
