Stephen has volunteered for the Reebok CrossFit® Regional Medical Team and several local affiliate competitions. He has developed various classes ranging from mobility to rehabilitation and is a consultant on prescription exercise programs. In addition, he has attended over 400 hours of postgraduate education including Active Release Techniques®, FAKTR®, Fascial Movement Taping, acupuncture, Functional Movement Systems®, McKenzie Method® for lumbar and cervical disorders, advanced laboratory diagnostics and functional nutrition, intravenous nutrition and pharmacotherapy, instrument assisted soft tissue techniques, trigger point needling, and Titleist® Performance Institute.
“There is no doubt that CrossFit is challenging – it challenges your dedication, takes you to your individual physical limits and can sometimes become competitive. But, it is more than that — it’s about cheering a new member on, it’s about having fun and sharing time with our athletes. Our community is what holds me accountable and I invite anyone and everyone to become a part of it.”
